The now 19-years-old entrepreneur will launch FacePrint to the public in mid-2019\, as an automated screening and monitoring tool for Parkinson’s disease using early-stage facial expression indicators. “I believe that together\, we can turn social media into a powerful tool to advance scientific research and accelerate a pathway to a cure\,” Smith addresses the audience. “Together\, we can turn selfies and hashtags into lives saved.” \n \n
