Bridging the Early Diagnosis and Treatment Gaps of Brain Diseases
ALAMEDA is a European collaborative R&I project that receives funding from the European Research and Innovation Programme Horizon 2020 and kicked off last 25th of January 2021.
ALAMEDA acknowledges that the care of patients with brain disorders is complex and manifestations of certain diseases could worsen over time and seriously impair the quality of life of patients and their caregivers.
Through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) healthcare support systems, the project aims to provide personalised rehabilitation treatment assessments for patients with Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and Stroke, to ensure that medical interventions are effective and that situations likely to aggravate can be predicted.
ALAMEDA Innovation Hub
Discover the forefront of medical technology advancement with ALAMEDA’s Innovation Hub. Dive into our comprehensive datasets and AI services that drive innovation and develop cutting-edge solutions for healthcare challenges.
Our hub fosters collaboration, supports research, and provides access to a wealth of knowledge, empowering developers and researchers to transform patient care through AI and machine learning
The success of such applications
will provide clinicians with the opportunity to better monitor patients and modify interventions based on personalised data recordings, that could include both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment options. ALAMEDA’s machine learning and AI methodology will ensure that the algorithms are interpretable and provide explanations for their outcomes.
The Spanish
word ALAMEDA means tree-lined avenue.
The ALAMEDA consortium is a multidisciplinary, cohesive and enthusiastic team of experts who are willing to walk together the ALAMEDA path towards the accomplishment of our mission: delivering better care and quality of life for people with brain disorders.
