Senior Manager and Head of Funding4Innovation

Iacopo De Angelis is a Senior Manager at EY and the Head of the Funding4Innovation solution (Subsidised Finance Team) with the aim to improve the participation of EY clients in European funding opportunities, in particular in the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme. Specialties: Business Development – European funding – European Projects coordination. Expert in legal and financial aspects of European Projects under FP and Horizon 2020 Programmes. Iacopo, following a University degree in law and a post-graduation master in European Community Operator (European Funding Management), he has been working as Officer at APRE (the Agency for the Promotion of European Research) from 2003 to 2013, in particular in the ICT, Security and NMP sectors. He has been, officially appointed by the European Commission and by the MIUR (Italian Ministry for Higher Education and Research) the Italian National Contact Point for the “Information Society Technologies” and “Security” thematic priority in FP7 and Italian National Contact Point for the European Funding Programme CIP ICT PSP. Iacopo has been officially appointed by the European Commission and by the MIUR (Italian Ministry for Higher Education and Research) as a National Expert in the Italian Security Programme Committee FP7 and in 2012 Acting National Delegate for the CIP ICT PSP Programme. Iacopo has gained a relevant experience working as consultant and Project manager in project related to the Sixth and Seventh EU Framework Programmes, developing good monitoring skills, through an intensive research and support activity. He has also worked as Individual Contractor for the Italian Ministry of University and Research. He is an Italian native speaker and is fluent in English. 

 

Giuseppe Avigliano

Senior Consultant

Giuseppe is a Senior Consultant at EY and he is working within Funding4Innovation solution. He has extensive experience in the design and implementation of innovative models in the field of cybersecurity: identification of all IT risks and mapping of related controls on business processes. In his career he has achieved ISO27001 certification (Auditor / Lead Auditor, June 2020) which confirms his skill in identifying and analyzing risks related to IT processes in order to assess potential non-compliance with the standards required by the high levels of projects in which is involved. Thanks to the projects developed, he managed to gather skills in the field of Cloud Governance and analysis of data migration process. He is an Italian native speaker and is fluent in Spanish and English. 

Giulia Bergamini

Project Manager

Giulia has been with EY Consulting since June 2014. She currently works in the healthcare and life science sector. Previously, she was involved in policy evaluation projects for the European Commission. She holds a MS in Management of Public Administration and International Institutions (Bocconi University, Milan), a MS in International Economic Policy (Sciences Po Paris) and a Post-graduate Executive Master in Management of Healthcare Organizations and Services (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore-Gemelli Hospital, Rome). Giulia is currently involved in several projects for the optimization of the patient pathway within hospitals and outpatient clinics, with specific reference to the areas of rheumatology and dermatology. She also acts as a Project Manager for the clinical development of a drug for a rare disease, supporting an Italian Pharma company.  She has competences related to planning, management and monitoring of both regional and local healthcare services, in understanding the healthcare regulatory framework at the national and regional level and of delivery processes of healthcare providers. She is Italian native speaker, fluent in English and French.

Carmine Apice

Carmine Apice

Statistical/Econometric analyst.

Carmine is specialised in statistical/econometric analysis and software development, with experience in the private and public sector. Before joining EY, he made an internship in DG GROW – Unit B3 of the European Commission. In EY he has been involved in a number of projects ranging from Analytics to Intelligent Automation. He has a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance University of Naples Federico II (Topics: Panel Data Econometrics, Microeconomic Analysis, Game Theory, Asset Pricing, Market microstructure, portfolio management, banking theory, banking regulation, macroeconomics Analysis, mathematics for economics and finance) and Thesis in “Using the IV regressor to correctly estimate the effect of a Policy”. He is native Italian speaker, with a good level of English and Spanish and basic French

Lorenzo Ciaschi

Staff Consultant

Lorenzo is a Staff Consultant at EY and he is working within Funding4Innovation solution. He graduated in 2018 at LUISS University of Rome, managing to complete his course of study in International Relations and Global Studies in an optimal way and then specialize and establish himself in Management and control of Community funds. During his career he has developed a high level of knowledge regarding the optimization of management, reporting and control of European projects, in particular the ability to develop a practical techniques and reporting tools. He has received full-coverage scholarship for a master in Management of Representation Systems, which allows him to boast a good competence in Business and Economics of Strategy, Project Management, Public Affairs and Representative Systems. To date he works actively on European projects and is developing and increasing his skills in relation to the security of IT systems. He is an Italian native speaker and is fluent in English and Spanish.
