Artificial Intelligence is transforming every aspect of modern society and is likely to have an enormous impact in the coming decades. AI is quickly becoming an integral part of modern medicine, having the potential to improve personal and global health, to reduce disparities between health systems in different countries and to contribute to personalized healthcare. AI algorithms and other applications powered by AI are being used to support medical professionals in clinical settings, to achieve advancements in healthcare for personalized medicine, clinical diagnosis investigations, robotic-assisted surgery, and supervisory activities in hospitals and clinics.
The AIMH 2023 Workshop will bring together scientists and practitioners interested in presenting research and exchanging views on how to make a better use of Artificial Intelligence, including Machine Learning, in novel applications for medicine and healthcare, how to better exploit these technologies to provide qualified solutions for prognosis, prevention, improved disease detection, rehabilitation and enhanced service delivery in modern medicine and healthcare.
A debate on future directions of research and development in the area will be organized by the end of the Workshop, giving the participants the possibility to share ideas and make new contacts.
AIMH 2023 will be held in Bucharest, Romania, on 24-25 May 2023, in conjunction with the 24th International Conference on Control Systems and Computer Science (CSCS 24) that will take place between 24-26 May 2023.
