Polytechnic University of Bucharest (UPB) is the largest technical university in Romania, ranked 1st in the top 12 universities awarded the title of “University for advanced research and education” by the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research. Adina Magda Florea

Dr Adina Magda Florea is full Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of UPB and the Head of the Artificial Intelligence and Multi-Agent Systems Laboratory. Her research interests are in multi-agent systems, machine learning, ambient intelligence, active and assisted living, and human-robot interaction.

Dr. Irina MOCANU is Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department of University “Politehnica” of Bucharest and member of the AI-MAS Laboratory. Her research interests are: image processing, multimedia databases, machine learning, ontology development and applications of ambient intelligence in the area of ambient assisted living and social robotics.
Alexandru Sorici

Dr. Alexandru SORICI is an assistant professor and scientific researcher at the Department of Computer Science of the University Politehnica of Bucharest (UPB). His research activity spans the domains of Ambient Intelligence (AmI), Context-Awareness and Context Management, knowledge- and data-driven (machine learning based) Human Activity Recognition (HAR), Multi-Agent Oriented Programming and Social Robotics.

Dr. Lidia BĂJENARU is Senior Researcher at Research infrastructure for the development of the products, processes and intelligent innovative services – PRECIS, University Politehnica of Bucharest (UPB). She has coordinated and was a member of research teams in numerous national and international projects, with expertise in areas such as: eHealth, eLearning, eGovernment, ontologies, knowledge management, models and technologies in systems engineering.
